Of course you're not. Because I'm going to help you stretch that tightness out. Right~?
[He's not letting himself voice the [x] doubt over Cor's protest. Instead, Will just prompts him with an encouraging lilt. He knows how exhausted and stressed you are, Cor; you've been running yourself ragged trying to keep people safe, both from the storms and from their aftermath. You're not going to be allowed to stay that way if he has anything to say about it.]
[Cor heaves a sigh, rolls his eyes slightly, and drags himself up from the table. He reaches over to take Will's plate as well, moving towards the sink and fully intent on ignoring that pestering. He's perfectly fine.
Though now that he has actually sat down for a few it's even harder to convince his body he needs to stay upright and functioning. He has every intention of doing the dishes but once he places them in the sink he just... leans against the counter for a moment. It's fine. He's fine. He just needs to close his eyes for a moment.
He's definitely not swaying slightly on his feet. You're imagining things, Will.]
[Oh yes, he's most certainly imagining things. Like the unsteady swaying, or the fact that Cor needs to lean on the counter to stay standing, or the way his shoulders are sagging. None of that is happening at all. Cor is clearly just standing there, Perfectly Fine, simply lost in thought. In front of the sink. With his eyes closed. There's nothing unusual about that at all.
Smiling wryly to himself, Will gets up to follow Cor over. It would probably be easier if Cor was sitting, (seriously, who gave him permission to be so tall?) but he reaches up to start kneading the man's shoulders. Arceus almighty, is he wearing armor under his clothes? That can't just be how hard his muscles are right now, can it?]
[The sudden contact is enough to make him straighten up, closer to alert at least. His breath hitches, a small pained sound. He's so tight that the pressure needed to get his body to relax is going to hurt at first. Not a bad hurt but there all the same.
Cor sighs and shifts, turning to lean against the counter so he can look at Will.]
You are really not going to let this go are you?
[If that is the case they should probably relocate somewhere that Cor can sit or lay down... standing is definitely not ideal for all of this.]
If you weren't as stubborn as a Mudbray, I wouldn't have to keep after you, you know.
[Have a playful razz; Will makes a pointed shooing motion towards the couch. He might feel guilty about the pained sound, if he didn't know how this sort of thing worked--but he's worked plenty of kinks out after hard battles before. Sometimes you just need a little pain, before the rest of it melts away.]
I'd never live it down if I let one of my Pokémon stay in this condition. Why should I leave a friend to hurt himself through negligence, either?
[He can't help scoffing at that as he makes his way obediently to the couch. It's a little odd, sitting facing away from Will when he's speaking to him but he settles himself in the middle of the couch, one leg folded onto the cushion in front of him.]
I hardly think not indulging in this sort of pampering counts as negligence.
[As though he wouldn't say the exact same thing to Regis or Clarus. Hypocrit.]
Hehehe..... Trust me, you'll find out how necessary it is when you next train. You'll feel the difference immediately, I guarantee it.
[Trust him, he's a doctor trainer. He knows how much better it feels to exert yourself when you're properly loosened up. He scoots up behind Cor to get to work, leaning his weight into it--as tense as Cor is, he's just not strong enough to start working him over properly without a little leverage. This first bit is definitely going to be the hardest.....]
[He glances over his shoulder to give Will a look that says he clearly doubts the validity of this claim. But he sits and he lets him work.
Or at least tries to. The deep ache of unrelenting knots works hard against Will's efforts and The tension in Cor's neck and jaw only coils tighter as the grits his teeth. Every breath carefully measured, sitting ramrod straight, refusing to make a peep. It aches but it's a strangely satisfying ache.
Still he's not about to let himself make any of the noises that want to come out with each roll of delicate hands that really shouldn't be able to put that much pressure into them]
[Will grunts a little with the effort. He shouldn't be able to do this, really. His hands have always been delicate and clever, better suited to picking locks than throwing a punch. But he's learned a thing or two over his years as a trainer--how to work knots out of both muscles and fur, for example. How to pry open mouths to feed stubborn Pokemon pills. How to pry open doors and windows and grates. How to lift himself up and swing onto balconies and roofs and rafters, places he shouldn't be able to reach. His strength isn't much, compared to a man like Cor, but he knows how to leverage it exactly how he needs to.]
I swear, you'd better not be wearing armor under there. Don't make me take your shirt off to check. This is ridiculous.....
[Cor huffs a strained laugh and shifts slightly, just enough to be able to shrug out of his jacket without potentially elbowing Will with how close the younger man is. The jacket gets slung over the arm of the couch and then he reaches back over his head, tugging both layers of t-shirts up and out of the way, leaving them slung loosely around his arms and his back bare for Will to confirm for himself that there was nothing between them but fabric.
Well, fabric and a considerable number of scars, some large, some small... some that should have been fatal. Ages ranging from just a few months old to decades old, faded white and bright pink. And entwined with all the scars are fine red and blue lines spreading out from his left shoulder, raised and discolored, the skin around them slightly paler. Marks that skitter down his arm in a fine web of colors.]
Better. Even if it just means this is even more ridiculous.
[So many marks..... The scars are easy enough to understand. Cor is a military man, scars are inevitable. Each one of them had a story to tell--may as well have been a badge of honor, to mark valiant service to his king and country. But those colorful lines creeping down his arm..... Those don't look like tattoos. They don't look like scars, either--or at least, not normal ones. He's not entirely sure what to make of them, to be honest.
So for the moment, he doesn't make anything of them at all. Will gently smooths his hands over Cor's back instead, a soft apologetic caress before he gets back to work. Maybe it'll be easier like this, with the warmth of skin on skin to help Cor relax into his efforts..... ]
[The gentle touch of warm hands on bare skin is enough to have his breath shuddering out, surprised at the sensation. Astrals, how long has it been since someone had their hands on him, skin to skin, no walls or armor between them. He honestly has no idea. Can't remember for the life of him and it makes him feel strangely vulnerable in a way he doesn't remember feeling in a very long time.
It takes a moment for him to really relax but without the layers of his uniform it's actually a little easier for him to let go of the Marshal. Soon enough he's listing to one side, leaning into the couch for support and letting out careful breaths to keep him from making any sounds. ]
Maybe you should lay down for this..... It'll be easier if you aren't supporting your own weight.
[Far be it from him to point out that Cor is starting to fall over. He doesn't want to make the man defensive, after all! But still, actually toppling would probably be embarrassing, wouldn't it? It's not even a lie, either; him having to stay tense enough to stay upright won't do either of them any favors, here.
He just wishes he had a little of his lotion with him; that would definitely make this easier, and it would probably feel nicer for Cor, too. Hopefully working him loose isn't too painful so far.....]
[Slowly Cor nods, making a small thoughtful noise.]
Would you prefer my room?
[Laying on a bed would let Will be able to move around him more freely and would mean one shoulder isn't buried in the couch. But that also seems a good deal more forward than he's really meaning to be here.]
[Cor is careful to make sure he picks up the layers he's peeled off, not about to leave things for the others to deal with. Never mind that he's a bit protective of his uniform jacket. Once everything is slung over one arm he reaches out to take Will's hand, fully intending to lead him up to his room.
When Will breaks off to duck into the bathroom he pauses, cocks a brow but continues on to his room. There's lotion in the bathroom, certainly, probably something that smells sweet and spicy if Regis has any say in the matter. Chai or something.
And when Will follows him in Cor is sprawled out on the bed, shirt and jacket slung over the desk chair, boots kicked off haphazardly. It's very uncharacteristic but... well if he's supposed to relax then he'll worry about straightening things up later.]
[Oh, he likes this smell. Reggie has good taste! He'll have to remember to drop him a compliment later. For now though, Will just rejoins Cor in his room, smiling a little to see the way Cor has flopped. Why, it almost looks positively normal!
Will wastes no time in toeing his own shoes off, crawling up onto the bed so he can straddle Cor and get back to work. There now! A little less friction, a position far easier to brace himself in, a way to easily bring his weight to bear, no concern of Cor toppling over..... He'll get these knots taken care of yet, even if it takes him all night.]
[Almost normal. It's a progression that has taken most of the day and no small amount of exhaustion to achieve but almost is the closest he's ever gotten to normal.
The last thing he expected was for Will to be joining him on the bed. He shifts to look over his shoulder, surprised. Then Will's just merrily straddling him, kneeling above him and Cor is quick to turn away before the younger man can see the way his cheeks flush at the position. And here he'd worried coming to his room might make Will uncomfortable. Apparently not. If anything it's made him more forward.
The embarrassment goes out the window as soon as Will lays hands on him again, though. The gentle slide of delicate hands and then the pressure as Will leans his weight into it forces out his breath, something between a sigh and a groan. Still painful, it's going to stay that way for a while, but also something deeply satisfying.]
[It's hard to say whether Cor could even be forward enough to make Will uncomfortable if he tried, given Will's inclination for flirting and casual intimacy. No, he's quite comfortable climbing atop Cor--doesn't even seem to register it as something he should be embarrassed by. It's just a better position to work from, right?
He's able to work much more effectively this way, after all. That much is proven almost immediately by the noise Cor lets out; Will makes a soft, sympathetic hum in return, though he doesn't pause in his efforts.]
[His breath hitches again and the next roll of Will's hands finally forces a groan out of him, something that leaves him gasping and breathless for a long moment, finally collapsing against the bed. No attempt to steady himself or do anything more than lie back and let Will do as he pleased.]
[Will just makes a pleased hum in return. It's one thing to feel the effect it's having on Cor, but it's another entirely to get to hear him admitting to that fact..... Every sound he makes is another little victory to savor, as he coaxes Cor into finally laying limp and unresisting.]
That just means it's working~ ♥ And that you need it.
[Okay but whatever he just did felt really good and Cor has to remember how to breathe for a moment after that, the tension bleeding out leaving him a little light headed, almost. Really, that's all the more reason not to be arguing about it but he can't help it. As nice as this is, strange for sure but nice as well, it's not necessary.]
[Will just chuckles a little at that. If Cor wants to argue, that's just fine with him. Just feeling the sheer vicarious relief washing over him tells him all he needs to know. At least now that Cor is finally starting to uncoil beneath him, he can be a little gentler about it, and try to make sure working him loose doesn't have to hurt.....]
